BW Project
BW consists of a wristwatch with a mechanism and form that have been created entirely from scratch. This object, which appears to be quite simple at first glance, proposes a different reading of time and immerses one in a more abstract measurement scale. The BW display is made up of a single hand that will take a thousand years to complete a full revolution. This watch (the central element of the multi-part Lost in Time project) will be presented for the very first time in Berlin as part of the exhibition Die Zeit Verschlingt.
The BW (BlackWatch) was designed and crafted in collaboration with Roman Winiger a renowned Swiss watchmaker. The works title BW is an initialized form of the watch itself and the respective surname initials of the artist and watchmaker.

Goldberg Experienced
This performance project of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations was created through the use of a prepared piano. Each one of the variations was subjected to a new preparation and the multiple transformations evoke a decline of sorts. In taking on music as a living and transformable subject, the project reveals this Bach work in a new and unexpected manner.

Goldberg Experienced Ghosts Chorus
In addition to being a sound sculpture, the piano used in the Goldberg Experienced project, in turn becomes an artifact of this project thanks to the experimentation traces inscribed within it. Each note of the Goldberg Variations is electrically amplified and the ensemble of sounds resulting from this vibration of the chords evokes a ghost chorus. A sensor activates and controls one of the piano pedals and modulates the feedback and the harmonics. Furthermore, four notes—the first two and last two of the Goldberg Variations—are permanently activated, thus referring to the cyclical and symmetric aspect of this Johann Sebastian Bach work.

General 12:37:23
The smoke of a cigarette unfurls in real time. Recorded with a macro lens this normally banal phenomenon becomes a captivating show. This space-time, though limited and quite concrete, seems to stretch out indefinitely in the observation of this whitish and ethereal strip that hypnotizes us with its wavering and tapering movement. |
